God promised Abraham we would become the father of many nations. Abraham was 75 at the time. 9,125 days later, God fulfilled that promise. When Sarah bore him a son. She was 90. Abraham was a hundred. 25 years they waited. The conception was impossible. The birth was impossible. Abraham and Sarah were both beyond the age when they could have children.
But God promised, and he did it. See Genesis, chapter 12, verse 4 and 21, verse 5. God never violates his promise. What he tells you he will do, he will do. Hebrews 10:35 says, Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward for you have need of endurance, so that when you've done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.
Daniel fasted and prayed for 21 days to receive guidance about a vision he had from God. He didn't understand it, and he wanted to know what it meant. God immediately answered Daniel. But the angel that God sent was delayed for 21 days because a demon resisted that angel. See Daniel, chapter 10.
Things happen in the spiritual realm that we aren't aware of. If your answer is delayed, don't assume God didn't answer or that the answer is no. Persevere. Hebrews 6:12. Imitate those who, through faith and patience, inherit what has been promised. Patience here has an element that means perseverance.
