Jesus came to the earth with great power. He did amazing miracles. The miracles drew crowds. But it was his words, his supernatural words that saved souls and transformed lives. The same is true today. Jesus words were recorded in the book we call the Bible and the words of Paul and John and others whom God inspired to record his words of life are in that book.
It's the word of God that saves us from and transforms our lives. God created everything with words. He still does. God gave us the 66 books in the Bible over a period of 2,000 years because he wanted us to have immediate access to his life and his creative power.
Isaiah 55:11 so is my word that goes out of my mouth. It will not return to me empty but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent. Open your Bible and let the unfailing words of God revive you, bring you back to life, abundant life.
