Does God really reveal more truth to some people than others?

Everything God does is relational because “God is love.”
First John 4:8

He draws us to Him by loving us. “It's His kindness that leads us to repentance” (Romans 2:4). God wants our hearts. As we pursue Him, He reveals more of Himself to us. Jesus told everything to His disciples as they became His friends. God tells more to His friends than to those who simply serve Him.

Jesus, in John 15:15, said:
"I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you."

Have you ever been in church and heard a teaching that literally rocked your world? You thought: "Oh, that's life-changing. Wow, so good." You left church uplifted and believed that you were changed by that one message.
Two weeks later, a friend asked you what the sermon was about because she was out of town and couldn’t attend church.

You think for a while, but you can’t remember what happened. You were given a spiritual truth. God meant to change your life. You felt that when you heard it, but you received it as a seed.

All the truth we get from God is in seed form. You did nothing with it. You didn’t take notes. You didn’t pursue more understanding through Scripture and prayer. And you didn’t take any action steps to apply that to your life.
The result? You lost it.

Mark 4:25 (Amplified Version):
"Whoever has a teachable heart, to him more understanding will be given; and whoever does not have a yearning for truth, even what he has will be taken away from him."

Having a teachable heart means you desire—you yearn for—more of God, more relationship, more truth. Just more. You want everything that God has for you. And you open your Bible to meet God, to learn, and to be transformed into a new person.

What you learn, you treasure. You journal it, and you take action to make it part of your life. If you do that, God will give you a greater ability to hear Him, to know Him, and to understand and live out spiritual truths that will transform your life and your nation.
