Speaking God's word creates life. Proverbs 18:21 says, the tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. I want you to focus on the first part of that. The tongue has the power of life. How can that be? Romans 10:17 explains, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
Word Here in the original language is spoken word of God. God's word is the seed from which all spiritual life comes. God's word creates faith which causes us to be born again. 1 Peter 1:23 for you have been born of God, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring Word of God.
Speaking God's Word Plants, powerful seeds of life in us. This is the message of the parable of the sower in Mark 4. Those seeds carry the very life of God. Those words, those seeds bring spiritual life and power to us. They increase our faith. They push back darkness. Declarations.
Unmask Satan's deceptions
reveal his schemes for hurting us. John 8:31 32 Jesus said, if you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.
Declare this with me
as I declare God's Word. Holy Spirit and the Word of God. Renew my mind with God's truth.
The truth sets me free from Satan's web of fear, doubt, discouragement, depression and deceit.
Declarations remind me of my identity in Christ as a much loved child of God. They remind me of God's promises, His truth, and what he has done for me in the past.
