Do you feel like you just don't have enough time to do the things you want to do for God, for your family? Learn how to redeem the time and make the most of every opportunity God gives you. One day your money, your car and your home will be given to someone else.

Someone else will have your job. The prestige, power and fame you work hard to get will vanish like a morning mist after the sun comes out. Those you love may remember you warmly, but they'll each go on living their own lives without you. When it's all said and done, the only thing that will truly matter is how you chose to steward the time you were given.

On this earth we live in an evil world filled with distractions and deceptions. We don't always see what God has planned for us. It's far too easy for Christians to go down the wrong path and miss God's best for our lives. Jesus redeemed us. He exchanged his righteousness for our sin.

How do we redeem time? Instead of using it on the things of this world, we buy back our time by using our time for God's purposes. We invest it in things that have eternal value. It's easy to believe you have plenty of time to do all the good things that you want to do in this life.

And it's easy to get caught up in work, in pursuit of wealth, fame or power. And we live in a time when most of us waste hours every day on social media or watching cat videos. Well, maybe not cat videos, but you get the idea. We live in a ping ring zing distracted world, slaves to the very technology created to give us more time to make life more convenient.

How many times have you come to the end of a day and wondered where the time go today? And often we look back and we realize we didn't do anything that was really significant in that day. None of the important things make the most of Every opportunity Ephesians 5:16 says make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.

We're surrounded by evil, poverty, injustice and sin and self centered living. God will give us opportunities to do something about that. But we need to make time for that and we need to say yes. When God asks. He often doesn't ask twice. The easy to read translation of verse 16 is I mean that you should use every opportunity you have for doing good because these are evil times.
