Who do you want to become? This isn't just a question about goals or dreams. It's about something far deeper—your identity in Christ.
Romans 12:2 tells us:
"Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think."
Real change—lasting, meaningful change—starts with the heart. We can't simply change our habits without addressing the beliefs behind them. And that's how God works in us. From the heart out, He changes our hearts. Then different thoughts, emotions, desires, and actions naturally follow. We change what we do because God has changed who we are.
Most Christians would say, "Yes, I want to be more like Jesus, and yes, I want to fulfill the work God has called me to do." But how do we get there? Most of us want to grow spiritually, but without a plan, we drift. Life pulls us this way and that, and before we know it, we've lost focus on what truly matters.
To make progress in our spiritual lives, we need clear direction and a plan to get there. You need to be able to answer these basic questions as you grow spiritually:
Where are you right now in your walk with God?
What are your goals? (In other words, where are you going?)
What practical steps can you take today to get there?
How can you measure your progress?
Most Christians have none of these. They don't know where they are right now in their journey. They don't know what's possible or how far they can go with God. They don't have specific steps they can take today to get where they want to go. And finally, they have no way to measure their progress on a daily or weekly basis.
Let's get answers to these questions. I want to share a simple, powerful framework for building a daily routine that will transform your relationship with God and empower you to live the life God prepared you to live. I believe with all my heart that this framework will help many of you who may be struggling in some aspect of life.
