Speak to your mountain. Mark 11:23. Truly, I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, go throw yourself into the sea, and does not doubt in their heart, but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. How can you have faith that a promise is God's will for your situation?
Romans 10:17. So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Word in the original Greek is rhema. This is not graphe, which is the word typically used to mean scripture or logos, which our Bibles also translate as word. Rhema means the spoken word. Faith comes from what God speaks to us.
Have you ever had a problem? Open your Bible and there's a verse that has God's answer to your problem. Most believers have had that experience.
That's a rhema word from God. God frequently speaks to us through the Bible. Sometimes I'm reading my Bible and it's like a verse jumps out at me. It just gets my attention and God speaks to me through that verse. Other times I read the Bible and I just know a verse or a passage is from God.
God speaks to us, uh, oftentimes in an inner knowing, a, uh, still small voice. That's also a rhema. As you seek scriptures for wisdom and guidance to overcome the adversity you face God, God will speak to you.
