Tina is the most beautiful girl at Penn High. Guys can't stop staring and girls can't stop whispering. And yet Tina feels completely alone. She's tired of being the girl everyone looks at but no one truly sees. Behind the flawless face and perfect figure is a person longing to be seen for who she really is.
We need to be seen, to be heard and to be known. We need heart connection. We need someone to get us to understand and relate to what we're thinking and how we're feeling. And when they don't, we feel suddenly cut off, lonely and achingly empty. God sees you. God knows your dreams and he knows your pain, and God understands.
He's with you
he's on your side. Isaiah 49:15-16 says, Can a mother forget a baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has born, though she may forget, I will not forget you see, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands.
God sees you. Proverbs 15:3 the eyes of the LORD are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good.
Jeremiah 12:3 yet you know me, Lord, you see me and test my thoughts about you.
