Who do you want to become? This isn't just a question about goals or dreams. It's about something far deeper. It's about your identity in Christ.
Today? I want to share a simple, powerful framework for building a daily routine that will transform your relationship with God and empower you to live the life God prepared you to live. I believe with all my heart that this framework will help many of you who may be struggling in some aspect of life.
Let me begin by asking you this. If you had to list three things that you could do every day that would totally change your life, what would they be? I believe these three things will change your identity and transform your life. First, know God. Knowledge is not the goal of Christianity.
Relationship is build a deep personal relationship with God and God's human family. These are the first and second greatest commandments that Jesus gave us. Said, love God with all your heart, then love people wholeheartedly. Family is God's idea. Christian community is essential to teach us how to love. Second, grow like God.
Let him transform you into a new person. See Romans 12:1-2 and give you the character of Christ. See Galatians 5:22-23.
Third, show God. The best way to tell the world about God is to be like him and then do what God tells you to do. Jesus did that and he's our model.
Hebrews 1:3 says, the Son shows us completely what God is like. He shines with God's great glory. His nature is the same as God's nature. If you want to know what God is like, look at Jesus. In fact, Jesus told Philip, anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.
John 14:9. These three daily habits, knowing God, growing God and showing God are not just tasks to check off the list. They are the foundation of a life that reflects Christ.
