We have a problem here in America. Dr. George Barna has conducted an annual survey of the American Christian worldview since 1995. The American Worldview Inventory for this year reveals that American adults, including many in the church, have rejected the Christian worldview and created their own ideas of what is true.

92% of American adults have a syncretistic worldview. This means that each person chooses ideas from several different worldviews and believes what they choose from other religions, Marxism, secular humanism, etc. 66% of American adults self-identify as Christians, but only 6% have a biblical worldview. Without a firm foundation in Scripture, people are easily led astray, adopting other ideas of truth, importance, and what is right.

Psalm 11:3 in the Amplified Bible says: "If the foundations of a godly society are destroyed, what can the righteous do?" What can we do to make sure we don't fall victim to false beliefs that look and sound good? And some of them do. What can we do to believe like Jesus and live a godly life when we're bombarded by so many conflicting ideas—when we're pressured to go along with the masses?

Keep yourself in the love of God. This is Jude 1:20-21: "But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life."

The whole book of Jude deals with fighting for God’s truth and never compromising.

The love of God is His way to eternal life. His love is relationship with Him forever. His love is abundant life, joy unspeakable, peace and purpose, healing, and restoration. It's more than we could ever ask or imagine. We stay under the love, protection, and care of God by staying within the walls of protection He has created for us.

The principles of the Word of God are the walls of protection that preserve us, give us life, and defeat the schemes of the devil. We keep ourselves in the love of God by believing what God says and nothing else. His Word is truth.
Everything in conflict with God’s Word is not true. It doesn’t matter what we think, what we want, or how we feel. The measure of a biblical worldview is: What does God say? Life comes from what we believe.
