Powerful Steps to Christian Transformation in 10 Minutes a Day

Let God Restore Your Wasted Years #2MinTransform

#2minutetransformation
I wasted the first 31 years of my life! When I first became a Christian, I lived in regret. I mourned and grieved that I had been so wicked. I had been an alcoholic for 10 years and did many, many things that I was ashamed of.

The freedom I felt when my weight of sin was removed is impossible to describe. I stopped drinking. I still fought the desire to drink, but I believed that Holy Spirit was in me to empower me to overcome. It took a couple of years, but eventually the desire went away. The smell of alcohol actual made me nauseous for several years after that. God really protected me from my past!!

But, having wasted so much of my life and being so broken from a decade of alcoholism, how could I possibly complete God’s plan for my life?
What I wanted more than anything was to hear the words of Matthew 25:23 spoken to me.

“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

This became my lifelong goal.
I wanted to, like Paul, to complete God’s plan for my life. But I had so many character flaws and I was crippled by guilt, shame, and regret.
In my pain, I asked God to help me complete His plan for my life.
God answered my prayer. He gave me a scripture. It was a promise.
Joel 2:25
“So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust…”
God made that promise to me. And God has no favorites. This promise is for you too!

John 8:36 EXB
So if the Son makes you free, you will be ·truly free [T free indeed].

Jesus set you free. Accept His freedom. Your past is cut off, gone. Everything in your spirit was regenerated – made new. You are a new creation. So live as one set free.

2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV:
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

Pray this prayer with me.
Father,
Jesus set me free. The past is gone. I am a new person – a new creature, a new creation. God created me to be free. I will not go back into captivity to anything. I am a son/daughter of God’s love. God is restoring to me what I lost or what was taken away over all the lost years. I will complete God’s plan for my life. Like Paul, God will enable me to finish well.
I will appear before Jesus and hear “well done, good and faithful servant.”
Thank You, Lord.

In Jesus Name, Amen.
