Powerful Steps to Christian Transformation in 10 Minutes a Day

Jesus Asks, "Have You Learned to Love?" Part 2

How can I love someone with the Love of God, when I really don't like that person?

Yesterday and today we answered this question.

John 6:38 in the AMP translation says, "Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over [with no space left for more]. For with the standard of measurement you use [when you do good to others], it will be measured to you in return.”

Many people think that verse is about money. It isn't. It is about giving love and doing good to those who don't deserve it.

Is there someone in your life who is really hard to love? In fact, if you're honest you'd have to admit that you really don't have any love for that person.

Perfect!!

Today's "activation" to actually do what God tells us to in scripture, is to do an act of love toward that person. Something small. We give you suggestions and real life examples.

The activation in this podcast could be life-changing. You'll find that as you approach someone you have no love to give to, if you'll ask God, He'll meet you as you act, and God will give you His love to give to that person.

Love is a choice that results in action. Act first. The emotion will follow. More important, God will meet you with His power and compassion as you take a step toward love.

Remember, the whole nation of Israel crossed the raging, flood-level Jordan river to get to the land God promised them. God dried up the river, but only after the priests carrying Israel's greatest treasure (the ark of the covenant where the presence of God was) stepped into the raging river.
