Finally, a Way to Measure Your Relationship With Jesus

The early church fathers measured the maturity of believers by the relationship they had with God: 1 believer, 2 disciple, 3 servant, 4 friend, and 5 son or daughter.

“This progression to maturity in Christ was taught in the first century and by “The Early Church Fathers,” who were the direct disciples of the first apostles. It is taught throughout the New Testament…” Rick Joyner, The Greatest Christian Life, https://publications.morningstarministries.org/word-for-the-week/overview-greatest-christian-life-part-6

The Bible says we have all of these when we are born again, but the question is: "What levels are you living at?"

Each of the levels is briefly explained with scripture. Then the problem of staying at the lower levels is revealed.

This is a new paradigm. It's not just based on what we believe or our behavior (e.g. spiritual disciplines). It's based on our actual love relationship with Jesus and the Father.
